Testimonials

Every 2 months, they rotate every interns in different areas. So I got to work as s Host, barista, and server assistant which is great because I was able to learn and acquire new knowledge and experience in every shift. I was able to work with my fellow Filipino interns, and also Indian and Chinese. It was great to learn about their culture and also share our own culture to them. This internship changed me in a way that I became independent and I was able to make my own decision about everything. Because of my internship, I had an idea on what it feels like to work in hospitality industry. I realized that working in Hospitality industry is not easy. You have to be patient, smart, approachable, and you must know how to handle an upset guest. I had my ups and downs while having my 1 year internship but the best part of it is that you meet new people who will change your perspective in life and also to be able to work in 5 star hotel abroad. I was able to use my grace period to travel the US and I really had an amazing trip.

I was given the chance to work in different departments, but most of it is to work in Garde Manger with my executive chef. CIA helped me to become indepent in everything I do and I realized that Family is very important and Friends which also became my Family. The best part of my experience is to learn the American culture, meet new friends, and the chance to travel around other states of America.
